Which banks are supported right now?

Telebirr and the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) are live today. Several more banks and wallets are on the roadmap — see the banks page. New banks reuse the exact same API shape, so adding them needs no change on your side.

What’s the difference between /check and /verify?

/check parses a receipt and returns payer, receiver and amount. /verify does the same and compares the receiver against the name/account you supply, returning verified: true/false so you can auto-approve safely.

Can someone fool it with a fake or edited receipt?

We read directly from the bank’s own receipt endpoint, not from an image. If an id is invalid, expired or unreadable we flag it and never report a false “Completed”. Use the verified match to confirm the money reached your account.

How do I pay, and how fast is activation?

Transfer via Telebirr or CBE and paste the transfer receipt id in your dashboard. We verify and activate within minutes. Renewals extend from your current expiry, so you never lose paid days.

Is there a rate limit?

Checks are unlimited while your plan is active. Sign-in and sign-up are rate-limited for security. Need very high volume? Reach out and we’ll size a plan for you.
